ABOUT ME
A native of Central New York, I was born and raised in Utica area, attended New York Mills Jr./Sr. High School, and subsequently the University of Rochester. I graduated with a major in Religion and with minors in Classical Civilization (Classics) and International Relations in 2012. At the University of Rochester, I served as sacristan, lector, and altar server to the Catholic Newman Community at the University of Rochester, while also working in the office with the Chaplain and Campus Minister. Additionally, I spent time studying abroad in Madrid, interning with The Prelature of the Holy Cross and Opus Dei.
While at Catholic Theological Union (CTU), studying for dual master's degrees in divinity and systematic theology, I was involved in several different activities and student groups. These include everything from being the past Chairperson of the Student Representative Council to assisting with the Liturgy Committee. Additionally, I worked as an intern in the Information Technology Department, the Events and Student Services Office, and served as a tutor for international students. In 2015, I took a position in The Bernardin Center for Theology and Ministry as the Assistant to the Director/Programs Coordinator, while also assisting Theophilus: The Student Journal of The Catholic Theological Union firstly as an Editorial Board Member and then eventual Co-Editor.

After graduating with my Master of Divinity from CTU in 2017, I proceeded to gain employment with my previous institution, the Catholic Newman Community at the University of Rochester. Serving here for nearly 5 years as the Campus Minister for Advancement, I coordinated the annual giving program, assisting with a nearly $7M capital project, and serving as a chaplain to over 1,600 Catholic students on campus.
More recently, I changed roles and moved to the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) as the Associate Director, Campus Life, and University Chaplain. As University Chaplain and manager of the office for Spirituality and Religious Life, I oversee some 25 spiritual and/or religious organizations on campus, with over 20 chaplains and program staff, serving over 2,000 students. While at RIT, I finished my Master of Arts in Theology from CTU in 2024.
Apart from my academic and ministerial studies and activities, I love spending time with my beautiful wife, Kait, as well as my adorable cats and dog, Pinkie, Oreo, Joey, and Sansa, respectively! I also enjoy such leisurely activities as traveling, running, bicycling, working out, playing soccer, and hiking!
